The Madonna del Monte Abbey
In 930, San Mauro started the woks to build up a church on the hill to pray in loneliness.
During the following centuries, the abbey was completed by the wills of Nicolo II° (1059), Urbano V° (1366) and Malatesta Novello (1464). The chancel in the apse is a masterpiece of the XVI° Century. Inside the abbey there are the Ex-Voto, a collection of proofs of the miracles of S. Maria del Monte. In the crypt there is the marble coffin of San Mauro.
